Pretty for the bedroom

It has been a lot of furniture talk the last couple of days, I’m not quite sure why, but I guess that I’m pretty excited about having a house in the future, a house of my own. I want to make it my own place, everything has its place and it is all connected and intertwined in my own special style. 

The Swedish store Indiska has some really nice things, as well as furniture, like this chest for example. I’d really like to have this chest at the end of my bed for example, a place to sit and take of socks or shoes (if you were to wear your shoes into your bedroom) or a place where you can lay your robe for easy access. A place where you can put your slippers. Also since you can open the chest you can place extra pillows, covers or bedsheets. Another thought that hit me is that Its a bit like a woman’s bridal chest, which isn’t really something that very normal nowadays, a tradition that is very special and that I believe should be continued.
